Engineering
High voltage/heavy current electrical engineer with experience in designing electrical systems
The candidate will design electrical systems for various installations in the process industry, at the company’s plants located around the world.
Job requirements:
- Required education: High voltage/Heavy current electrical engineer registered in the Register of Engineers and Architects. In addition
- An electrician-engineer license is Mandatory.
- 6-8 years of experience
- Knowledge in designing industrial systems
- Design of electrical panels and MCC
- Definition and selection of motors in accordance with mechanical requirements
- Knowledge and experience with transformers, soft-starters and variable speed drives.
- Good acquaintance the design requirement of electric rooms.
- Knowledge of designing high voltage electrical systems. Definition of the power transformer in accordance with the requirements of the rated power and process needs of the planned installations.
- Familiarity with the Local Electricity Law and its regulations.
- Good acquaintance with IEC and UL standards.
- Familiarity and understanding of the world of instrumentation and control.
- Previous experience employed in a planning office working with industry (and not with the private sector) –Significant advantage.
- Highly skilled in AutoCAD – Mandatory.
- Familiarity with large process industrial plants –Advantage.
