  • Avshalom Felber

    Avshalom Felber

    Executive Chairman, IDE Technologies Group

    Mr. Felber has held the position of Executive Chairman of IDE Technologies since 2018, after founding Alfa Water Partners LLP, a partnership that acquired the IDE Group in 2017.

     

    Before his current role, he was the company’s President and CEO, a position he has held since 2002. In 2017 Mr. Felber was ranked 11th as the “world’s water experts” by Water World Magazin.

     

    Mr. Felber brings to the table a wealth of in-depth knowledge of the desalination market and technologies, financial expertise, and business experience.

     

    This combination puts him in an excellent position to promote the development of new and existing markets and advance new desalination and water treatment technologies.
    Prior to joining IDE, Mr. Felber was the Deputy Director of the Budget Department at the Israeli Ministry of Finance.
    He holds a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy and an MBA, both with distinction, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr. Felber also participated in the Eisenhower Foundation program in the U.S., studying government, budget, transportation, and capital markets.

  • Amir Lang

    Amir Lang

    Executive Chairman, IDE Water Technologies

    Mr. Lang has been the Chief Executive Officer of IDE Group 2018-2022 and Executive Chairman of IDE Water & Technologies after co-founding Alfa Water Partners LLP., a partnership that acquired IDE Group in 2017.

     

    He brings with him a wealth of financial and industrial experience and in-depth knowledge of the Energy, water, and Infrastructure market. Mr. Lang’s vast experience enables him to confidently promote the development of new investments in the global water market.

     

    Before joining IDE, Mr. Lang was the Executive Vice President of Delek Group, Israel’s largest Oil & Gas, Energy, and Infrastructure conglomerate, a position he has held since 2010. He holds an LL.A. and an LL.M. from Tel-Aviv University and an EMBA from the Kellogg-Recanati Business Program of Tel-Aviv University and Northwestern University.

  • Alon Tavor

    Alon Tavor

    CEO, IDE Technologies Group

    Alon Tavor brings with him over 30 years of experience in the industrial sector and over 15 years in CEO positions, leading multiple companies in various fields of operation, where he spearheaded processes such as strategic restructuring, entrepreneurship, acquisitions, and efficiency improvements.

     

    Alon brings vast experience in multiple technologies and industries, razor-sharp analytical and organizational development skills, and the ability to create unmatched business value by creating a synergy between customers, technology, and operational strengths. With in-depth knowledge of water treatment technologies, he holds a rare combination of technical, commercial, and project-related expertise.

     

    Prior to taking on his current position, Alon led the Sorek B facility – the world’s largest SWRO desalination plant – where he led all stages of design, planning, and tendering of this highly strategic project that entailed state-of-the-art technological advancements and the world’s lowest water price to date.

     

    Alon holds an M.B.A. (Summa cum Laude) and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology from Ben-Gurion University.

  • Lihy Teuerstein

    Lihy Teuerstein

    CEO, IDE Water Assets Inc, US

    Ms. Teuerstein has been with IDE since 2011 and has been leading the IDE Water Assets business as of 2018.

     

    Her previous roles included establishing and Heading the Commercial Department of IDE and General Counsel for the IDE group. Lihy has demonstrated a history of working in the business environments of large infrastructure projects in all conservative and alternative procurement methods and is skilled in negotiating complex agreements with project partners, off-takers, and clients. She broadly understands the water infrastructure market worldwide and project development processes.

     

    Lihy has a combined LL.B in Law and Far East Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is a member of the Israel Bar Association. She also has an M.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Tel Aviv University.

  • Mazy Pinchusowicz

    Mazy Pinchusowicz

    Deputy CEO & CFO, IDE Technologies Group

    Ms. Pinchusowicz joined IDE in 2011 as Head of Finance, Treasury, Budget & Control, Risk Management, and Pricing.

     

    In 2016 she assumed the role of CFO for both IDE business units – IDE Projects and IDE Assets – and was responsible for managing all financial, accounting, pricing, and reporting matters in the Group. In this position, Mazy puts her expertise in leading global financial analysis to drive management and board decisions to good use.

     

    Mazy brings to IDE more than a decade of experience in senior finance positions in public and private global corporates and global accounting firms (BIG 4). Further, she has a track record of successful results in complex and multidisciplinary processes (e.g., IPO, global CF management, US GAAP, as well as IFRS experience, multi-level budget preparation, and control, ERP implementation), and extensive experience as a board member in public and private companies.

     

    Prior to IDE, Mazy served as the Controller for a large public investment company. Mazy is a certified C.P.A. by the Israel Auditors’ Council and holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Haifa University, and an M.B.A., majoring in international taxation, from Ono Academic College.

  • Ilan Glanzman

    Ilan Glanzman

    Chief Project Officer

    Ilan Glanzman joined IDE in August 2022 to direct IDE’s Projects division in the execution of IDE’s major commercial projects globally.

     

    Ilan brings more than thirty years of experience directing international E.P.C. and supply chain projects from commencement through planning and execution. The majority of Ilan’s experience was gained in the fields of Process, Energy, and Semiconductor facilities construction.
    Ilan has a BSc in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology and an M.B.A., both from Ben-Gurion University.

  • Boris Liberman

    Boris Liberman

    VP & CTO, Membrane Technologies

    Dr. Liberman joined IDE in 1993 and held various positions in the company prior to assuming his current position as VP and CTO for membrane technologies. As CTO he leads the company’s R&D activities in the RO field. Dr. Liberman is responsible for several industry technological breakthroughs, including the Pressure Center Design, the patented Direct Osmosis Cleaning enabling membrane cleaning without stopping the RO train, green desalination allowing desalination without the use of chemicals, and 16″ membranes in a vertical array.

     

    He is well-known and respected in the desalination field and regularly speaks at leading industry conferences and events.

     

    Dr. Liberman holds a B.A. and M.S. from the Civil Engineering Institute Rostov-on-Don, USSR, and a Ph.D. from the Institute for Scientific Research in Water Supply, Moscow.

  • Jacky Ben Yaish

    Jacky Ben Yaish

    VP, Chief Engineering

    Jacky joined IDE originally in 1993 as a Process Engineer. After a short break, he returned to IDE as Manager of the Detailed Design department, and before being appointed VP Engineering in 2016, he served as the company’s Engineering Manager.

     

    Today Jacky bears overall responsibility for the engineering design of all IDE products, including both thermal and RO desalination, with the thermal and membrane process departments, as well as the detailed engineering, falling under his responsibility. Jacky has been closely involved in engineering the company’s leading mega-projects around the world, among them the Sorek, Carlsbad, Tianjin, and Jamnagar plants.

     

    Jacky brings over two decades of experience in desalination to the management table, from all aspects of the project – process, detailed design, and project management. His across-the-board experience in all project stages, from design through to commissioning and operation, provides an unparalleled understanding of complex water treatment projects. He has a broad understanding of alliancing and risk/reward compensation processes associated with alliances.

     

    Jacky is a graduate of Ben Gurion University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He also has an M.B.A. from Bar Ilan University, majoring in financing.

  • Sharon Grossman

    Sharon Grossman

    VP, Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer

    Sharon joined IDE in 2015 as Head of Legal for EMEA and APAC, and not long after, was promoted to her current position – VP Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer. Over the past 20 years, Sharon gained priceless experience as legal counsel to both public and private companies, primarily in the infrastructure, water, and energy sectors.

     

    Sharon is passionate about using her extensive legal experience and skills to create win-win situations, find creative legal and business solutions in difficult situations, and bring people together.

     

    Sharon holds an L.L.B. and an L.L.M., graduated Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude accordingly, both from Bar-Ilan University. In addition, she also has a Post Graduate Diploma in E.U. Competition Law from King’s College London.

  • Michael (Miki) Tramer

    Michael (Miki) Tramer

    VP, Sales & Marketing

    Miki brings with him almost three decades of international experience in project management, sales, marketing, and business development in the water treatment, infrastructure, and desalination industry.

     

    His deep knowledge in the water treatment sector is reflected in a valuable combination of technical, commercial, and project-related expertise, with in-depth experience in developing large-scale desalination projects.

     

    Miki consistently develops strong, successful relationships with clients and staff at all levels, and collaborates well with multidiscipline teams of engineers and scientists to ensure business goals are met, and optimal results are achieved. He holds a B.S.c. in Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) and an M.S.c. Degree in Nuclear Engineering, both from the Technion in Israel.

     

    Miki possesses sharp strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities and is an enthusiastic communicator with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

  • Tomer Efrat

    Tomer Efrat

    VP, R&D

    Tomer Efrat has substantial background and experience in the water industry, including seawater desalination as well as water and wastewater treatment. Tomer started his journey with IDE in 2005, first as a process engineer in the Thermal Process department and then serving in various technological and commercial roles, including Process Engineering Manager and Director of Business Development, leading IDE’s water treatment activity. He climbed up the ladder to his current position – IDE’s V.P. of Research and Development, overseeing IDE’s work in this field while reinforcing IDE’s position as a global water technology leader.
    Tomer is an alumnus of Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv University, and he has an Executive MBA. He also holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

  • Shiri Shani

    Shiri Shani

    VP, Human Resources

    Shiri  Shani joined IDE Technologies Group as Vice President of Human Resources at the beginning of 2023,  bringing over two decades of dynamic global leadership and expertise in human resources to her role.

    Throughout her career, Shiri has demonstrated a proven track record of aligning business strategy and development with HR objectives to achieve optimal business impact.

    With a background that spans various industries, including pharmaceuticals, logistics, and technology, Shiri has held key leadership positions at renowned companies such as Teva Pharmaceuticals, Unilever, and DHL.

    Prior to IDE, Shiri held similar leadership positions at Tadbik Group (as VP HR) and Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she led HR efforts on a global scale. Shiri also served as VP of HR at DHL, leading the HR team and the company’s projects division.

    Shiri holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Sociology and an additional degree in English Literature, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (Honors), all from Tel-Aviv University. She is a graduate of prestigious HR development programs and holds certifications as a Certified Mediator and a Certified Director, all obtained from Tel-Aviv University.

  • Yaron Straschnov

    Yaron Straschnov

    VP, Commercial

    Yaron Straschnov joined IDE a decade ago as a Business Development Manager. He continued as the Global Sales and Solutions Manager where he was responsible for all the techno-commercial bidding and quotations of the company. He increased the company’s market share and developed new business platforms for IDE’s future growth.  His tenure at IDE led him to his current position as the company’s Vice President of Commercial.

     

    Yaron has accumulated extensive and valuable experience in sales, business development, and marketing of advanced technology products and projects to leading private and public entities worldwide. He specializes in the commercial aspects of water treatment and related infrastructure. Yaron’s exceptional track record includes two patent applications in the energy sector, and the Brilliance and Innovation in Development & Engineering, Motorola Israel CEO Award granted to him in 2007.

     

    Yaron is a graduate of the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, with a B.A. in Computer Science, and of the Bar Ilan University, with a Master in Business Administration (specializing in Marketing) and a Master in Law.

  • Lior Croll

    Lior Croll

    VP, Assets and Developments, IDE Water Assets

    Lior Croll joined IDE Water Assets in 2018 and currently serves as VP of Assets and Developments.

     

    Prior to joining IDE, he worked in the global supply chain for Amazon, Seattle. Before this, Lior was an economist for the Israeli Competition Authority. He led the analyses of high-profile mergers and acquisitions and conducted competitive market studies of the Israeli Economy. Lior also served as the Business Development Director of Etgal Holdings, focusing on developing and managing water, transportation, and energy P.P.P. projects.

     

    In his current position, Lior leads the development of long-term assets globally, including B.O.T. and P.P.P. projects, for both the public and industrial sectors.
    Lior holds an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management, an M.A. in Economics, and a B.S.c. in Mathematics and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

  • Nati Louzon

    Nati Louzon

    VP, IDE Israel & O&M DIV

    Mr. Louzon joined IDE in 2010, overseeing worldwide maintenance and operational support for IDE plants. As a water treatment professional and IDE’ O&M Department Director, he has extensive experience designing, engineering, building, and operating small and medium water treatment projects.

     

    Having excelled at IDE Technologies for over a decade, Mr. Louzon has notably managed significant undertakings, including the Reliance SWRO and Santa Barbara large-scale plants.

    Mr. Louzon holds a BA in Business Management from the Rupin Institute and a Master’s Associate in Law from Bar Ilan University.

    Michael Tabachnik is the VP of Corporate Development and M&A at IDE Technologies. Michael joined IDE in 2018 with substantial business development experience, demonstrating extraordinary professionality and skills since then. With his vast experience, he gained expertise in Power, Downstream Energy, and Renewable Energy domains. He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University.

  • Gregory Shtelman

    Gregory Shtelman

    VP, Project Engineering

    Gregory Shtelman joined IDE Technologies in 2006 and has since held key project and managerial positions, significantly contributing to the company’s success. As an experienced EPC and Program Manager, Gregory played an instrumental role in overseeing IDE’s largest SWRO projects, including those in Ashkelon, Cape Preston, Hadera, and Sorek A & B.

    From 2019 to 2024 Gregory was responsible for Sorek B project EPC aspects during the tender and execution phases. During the project he managed the entire desalination section of the $0.5 billion EPC project for its execution stage, serving as Sorek B Partnership CEO Deputy and Desalination Project Manager.

    Gregory holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from HIT Holon and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technion in Haifa. In his current role at IDE, he serves as Vice President of Project Engineering, managing a team of 200 engineering managers and multi-disciplinary engineers, primarily focused on executing IDE commercial and tendering projects

  • David Muhlgay

    David Muhlgay

    VP, Foreign Subsidiaries

    David Muhlgay is a senior business executive with extensive experience in CEO and CFO roles within a global industrial environment. He holds a postgraduate degree in Advanced Accountancy from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    David joined IDE in 2014 as CEO of Omis Water Ltd., the second-largest SWRO desalination plant in the world and a fully owned subsidiary of IDE as is currently filling this role.  During his tenure, he achieved record results in profit growth and employee engagement. As from 2022, David took up, in addition, the role of VP of Operations & Maintenance (O&M), responsible for the global management of the company’s O&M activities. During 2024 David re-aligned his responsibilities at IDE Technologies & took up the role of VP Foreign Subsidiaries.

    With vast experience in optimizing and leading strategic business operations, coupled with deep knowledge of both local and global industrial markets and a strong background in finance, David was instrumental in his previous role as Finance Director at Hadera Paper Printing & Writing Paper Ltd. Additional positions he held include CEO & CFO at Caesarea Polymer Industries Ltd., and Financial Controller at Federman Enterprises.

    In his current position as VP of Foreign Subsidiaries at IDE Technologies, David leverages his commitment to corporate excellence to manage and lead IDE’s regional subsidiaries. He enhances their business and operational activities, implements local and global policies, procedures, and guidelines, and oversees the management of customer O&M contracts from commercial aspects to day-to-day operations. He continues to be an invaluable asset to IDE, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and streamlined processes.
