IDE is excited to announce that we have named seasoned water professional Iris Jancik the new Chief Executive Officer of IDE Americas, effective as of November 15, 2021. As the CEO of IDE Americas, Iris will be responsible for developing and driving IDE\u2019s growth strategy in the North American markets.<\/p>\n
Iris\u2019 experience in various water industry roles, as both an engineer and manager, and in several countries including Israel and the U.S., has undoubtedly equipped her with the knowledge and tools needed to continue expanding this important market. She understands the criticality of water security in today\u2019s world and will play a huge role in empowering these regions with safe, sustainable and environmentally friendly sources of water for decades to come. Her expertise in this field will help drive IDE\u2019s innovative water technology solutions in North\u00a0 American markets and we look forward to welcoming her to the team!<\/p>\n
Prior to joining IDE, Iris served as the Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Plasson USA. Her duties there included creating and executing sales strategies, identifying and developing market trends and working with the global R&D team to introduce products and capture new market share. She also formerly served as Chief Engineer at Hutchison Water, IDE\u2019s partner in the construction of Sorek A. Iris earned her B.S. in civil engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. in international business from Texas A&M University.<\/p>\n
