Drak to highlight the success of IDE’s membrane-based technology, MAXH2O Desalter

The 2023 Membrane Technology Conference (MTC) explores how the latest developments in membrane technology can enhance water reliability and quality, revealing new directions in water and wastewater treatment technologies, desalting, and membrane bioreactor applications. Alex Drak, Senior Process Engineer at IDE Technologies, will be participating in a speaking session on the Industrial Treatment track.

The presentation will be focused on IDE Technologies’ MAXH2O Desalter, a membrane-based technology that enables achieving high recovery of CTBD, thus reducing the OPEX. Specifically, Drak will showcase the results of a 48m3/day MaxH2O Desalter demo unit in a power plant in Chile that operated for 60 days (24/7) to achieve an outstanding result of 96% recovery of the CTBD. Representatives from Hydranautics and Consolidated Edison will join Drak in the Industrial Treatment track.
